Your details belong to your tea order. You should know how they are used, who helps us handle them and how to contact us.

Who is responsible

Brew Your Sip is operated by Unik Tea Centre Private Limited, 69 Bangur Avenue, Block B, Kolkata 700055, West Bengal, India. Archit Shah is the contact for privacy questions and grievances.

What we collect and why

• Orders and delivery: name, email, billing and delivery address, phone number when supplied, selected teas, quantities, order notes, transaction references and order status. These details support your purchase, delivery, payment reconciliation and order enquiries.
• Your optional account: account name, email, password credentials managed by WordPress, addresses and order history. These let you sign in and manage your purchases. Guest checkout is available.
• Reviews: displayed name, email, rating and review text. Your name, rating and review may be public after publication; your email is used for administration and moderation. WordPress may also record an IP address and browser information with a submitted review for abuse prevention.
• Support: the message and contact details you choose to send us, used to answer your enquiry or handle a request.
• Site operation: essential basket, session, sign-in and security data. Hosting and security logs can contain IP addresses, browser information and request times.
• Optional browser tools: when you allow them, visit and order-attribution measurement can use referral, campaign and visit information; optional Hostinger Reach browser tools can support marketing forms and measurement. These choices are separate from placing an order.

Your choices

Use Privacy choices to allow or withdraw optional browser-tool permissions. Both categories start off. We store your choice in this browser for up to six months. You can revise it earlier; a different browser or device has its own choice. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control are honoured for these optional tools.

A purchase or review is not a request for promotional email. If you separately subscribe to marketing, use the unsubscribe link in that message or email us to withdraw. Operational order messages are handled separately from promotions.

Service providers

WordPress and WooCommerce run this shop on Hostinger hosting. The payment provider you select, such as Razorpay when available, processes payment information through its payment interface. Delivery partners, including Delhivery when used, receive the details necessary to deliver an order. Review, support and email service providers may process information needed for their functions. A provider’s own privacy terms can apply when you use its service. Payment interfaces may contact their provider when displayed for payment functionality.

Our theme loads its fonts and visual assets from this website. Optional browser measurement and marketing scripts identified in this notice are gated by your choices. This does not replace security or essential transaction processing.

Keeping and deleting information

Order, invoice and transaction records may need to be kept for accounting, tax, legal claims and fraud prevention. Information needed for those purposes cannot always be deleted immediately on request. Other information should be removed or anonymised when its purpose ends and no retention requirement applies. Contact us for information about a particular record or to request deletion; this website does not promise automatic deletion on a fixed date.

For an account, review or order request, we review the relevant records and provider obligations before responding. Backups and records subject to a legal requirement may follow a different retention cycle. A request to stop optional marketing does not require deleting records necessary for an existing order.

Rights and grievances

You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request correction or erasure, withdraw consent, raise a grievance or ask about nomination, subject to applicable law and identity verification. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within one month. If unresolved, you may use the available statutory grievance route, including the Data Protection Board of India when the relevant provisions and mechanism apply. Contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

Children and safety

Purchases and accounts should be managed by adults. Please do not submit a child’s personal information through reviews, order notes or marketing forms. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been submitted so it can be reviewed. We do not operate a child-directed account or advertising experience.

Use a unique password and do not share sign-in codes. No internet service can promise absolute security. If you suspect misuse of information held by this shop, contact the privacy contact above.
